The stress resistance is nice, but the cost is very high. Not great, but occasionally you won’t have anything important to do and it never hurts to spread some healing and stress relief around. Gives enough healing to pick someone up off Death’s Door and provides a little de-stressing. Simultaneously the Crusader’s only attack that launches from the rear half of the party and the only attack that can hit the rear half of the enemies, while also being a pretty nice attack in itself. The fact that it doesn’t reach the back rank is a problem though. Actually a decent heal these days that can be buffed with trinkets to be quite serviceable, giving him a unique front rank healer niche. A handy buff when there aren’t any enemies in range, can also sort of tank thanks to the mark.īattle Heal: Solid. Decent damage for a stun attack, and the Crusader has excellent trinket support for stunbot builds.īulwark of Faith: Borderline to solid. Nothing special but AOE attacks are always nice, especially coming off of damage as high as the Crusader. Basic attack with high damage and a nice kicker-the Ruins have a very highĬoncentration of Unholy enemies, making it really easy to exploit. He’s got a really broad range of useful skills and trinkets creating a viable lot of options in builds, although as with anything he winds up leaning towards DPS just by the nature of the game. The addition of corpses has dulled his attacking edge slightly, but he’s received a lot of support buffs and functions quite well as a mixed damage dealer/off tank/support class.
The Crusader is one of my favorite class designs right now.
